ACURA® (RD1)
Evaluation of the activity and tolerance of the ACURA® covering and protective gel product on the functional signs of labial herpes. Monocentric randomized comparative study conducted by a single-blind investigator, on patients with a history of recurrent labial herpes (2010).
Protective labial gel based on TGO. Acura is a covering and protective gel for the symptomatic treatment of labial herpes. Acura covers cold sores with an invisible protective film. It therefore protects and facilitates the healing process. From the first day of treatment, Acura has a positive effect on the painful signs and symptoms of herpes and, secondarily, on the clinical scores of the lesion. Acura’s efficacy has been demonstrated in a comparative clinical study with placebo*.
